Scott Richards’ love of the outdoors has led him on climbing trips all over the United States, including several trips to Alaska and twice to summit Mt. McKinley in Denali National Park. He has also climbed Aconcagna in the Andes Mountains in Argentina. Scott is a member of the American Alpine Club.

Before becoming a Financial Representative, Scott’s fascination with the African culture brought him to Gabon, Africa, where he was a middle school teacher and principal. This experience enabled him to make a positive difference and gave him an opportunity to learn about himself. To this day, Scott takes pride in helping others through his work and his Community Service.

Scott Richards treasures spending time with his two young children, Henry and Annabelle. He is heavily involved in his children’s schools and coaches their soccer teams.Scott and his children enjoy taking part in outdoor activities, frequently skiing in the mountains of Steamboat, Colorado.

Some of Scott’s other hobbies include camping, fly fishing and most recently, surfing.
